My name is Katii Tornick, and I founded Kay Joplin Photography & Videography in 2017. I have been photographing and filming New England weddings and destination weddings since 2013 and have captured over 200 weddings.

My shooting style is intrinsically photojournalistic, and I love being able to artistically document the emotional and unforgettable moments of a wedding day.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emerson College, I was able to develop a diverse professional photography and videography background; working in fashion, commercial, live music, and even film and video game sound industries.

All creative roads eventually led me to wedding photography and videography in 2013, where I found I could combine all my experiences and skills to go above and beyond when capturing all aspects of a wedding day. 

My photography has been published online and in print at Wedding Chicks, Bliss Celebrations Magazine, Boston Common Magazine, The Improper Bostonian, Boston Weddings Magazine, WBUR and The Boston Globe. My photography has also been published and aired on The Curation Agency’s segment on CNN.
